Cosmic Terror of Love

All my life I have been bored of anything that didn’t bleed or ooze or at least look at you in a menacing way. My mother rarely supervised what my siblings and I watched so I got hooked on Horror young. Thanks to Mama and the likes of The Shining, Pumpkinhead, Event Horizon, Sleepy Hollow, etc… I am the very capable monster carving, eyeball polishing, goth mommy maker I am today. Thanks Mama…. and all the directors and actors who brought me The Thing.

All this media culminated in making me the weird kid most of the time, but it led to lots of uses for the ‘ol imagination as well. It gave me a lot more time to really think on the things I love and want to make in my lifetime.

Why so many pumpkins?

Well, I adored Pumpkinhead as a child, and as a card carrying feminine type goth person it led me to try to cultivate my own flora abominations. Sadly though, unlike my nature Goddess of a green thumbed grandmother, my thumb is black. And I don’t just mean ‘oh, I cant grow anything’, I mean I can’t even get a plant home before it withers from the unholy onslaught of my black miasmatic aura. What does this mean? No Pumpkins. Not from a seed nor sapling can I grow a damn pumpkin. And what was I gonna do, buy pumpkins from BIG PUMPKIN? No thanks, Ill pass. (lol) In all seriousness, I wanted pumpkin heads that I could make anytime that were light and versatile in the way that I could make them all year round. I made my first pumpkin in a shed in my backyard and fell in love. My life has been pumpkins ever since. The rest all comes as imaginative customers and my own wild mind get a goin’.

I have sold on Etsy for the past ten years, and finally have decided it's time to go out on my own! If you'd like to see my many great reviews, you can always look up my shop there as well. The shop is called Deader is Better thanks to Etsy’s length constraints.

I make horror art you can wear or use to help take care of my family and live out my dreams of being a spooky maker. Thank you to everyone in my life that has anything to do with that. I’ll continue to make pumpkins, but I’ll also continue to make new things, all the more horrible as time goes on, ghosts willing.
